I saw these gents open the evening for DWeF in Trier some weeks ago. The vocalist seemed terribly shy between songs and then went full-on beastmode on the vocals again; him overcoming this was one of the most metal things I have ever seen. Vi Overlevde is, excuse this, bizarrely good. Not too posty, but still with a remarkable edge and a pretty unique feel to it. Maybe I'm still carried away by the live performance, but alas! This is great. Ensomhet is... beyond words. Kom til meg!

Devilish, fierce and evil are terms that come to Mind listening to Beyond The Grave. But it's also quite melodic and songwriting is more important to Baalberith than sheer brutality and endless blast beat attacks. It also provides a very well crafted and rich dark atmosphere. Overall a sophisticated black metal release and a very big step up from their previous releases.

In general, I’m not very keen on doom metal, but this album appears as an exception. The dark atmosphere and the beautiful melodies held my attention from the first seconds, but what that really made me give in are the mesmerizing vocals. This record is honestly something you don’t want to miss.
